Philo is the star of the show. He is an amorphous being born from television and the internet created by Hamil Griffin-Cassidy originally for broadcast television, but now he lives online. He loves! he lives! He murders sometimes! he does what the audience wants.

Dog

Dog is Philo's dog from the very first comic online when he was still with Bluto. He has lead a mushroom rebellion as well as turned into a living skeleton and become the bone hound of a Venom-infected octopus.

Met Philo in the bar in the stomach realm. Fell in love in the eye of Cthulushroom. has been his companion since after getting him away from an abusive Bluto. Has a mysterious past.

Mushroom

A mushroom stowaway from the Cthulashroom Planet when Philo and Dog left it, he left with them on the rocketship. he was one of the mushrooms that fixed the ship and possibly and revolutionary. he can hack into the mycelium networks of planets and becomes a Swamp Thing like creature over the course of Philo's tale.

Bluto

Bluto, from Popeye, was once Philo's lover until Philo broke up with him for his abuse and bad behavior. Bluto cheated on him with Olive Oyl. He can occasionally turn into a Puma.

Olive Oyl

Olive Oyl from the old Popeye comics and cartoons... evolved as a character over the course of Philo. She started as a sight gag and ended up with tentacles and with spider legs infected with Venom in charm school while in a pickle jar. She was the nurse in the Blutorium as well as has Inky powers.

Armond's polyamorous exes from his time with the circus. They love each other but especially him and any part of him including tiny little Armonds.

Venoms

The Venom symbiote enters the world of Philo through an inky puddle that Olive Oyl escapes through and gets Inq powers from. The puddle was actually a Venom and he becomes a character in the strip. Venom possesses Philo to fight Spider-Whaleshark and jumps from host to host, until they are blasted off with an Akira ray from Armond. They then go to Charm School where their presentation at San Dimas High is ruined by Philo showing up with scientists from history (and Dumpty)

Dizney

This includes the lawyers, the fleet, their spies, and any other connection to the Dizney corporation as they try to protect their intellectual copyright. They are a sea-faring people. The Sea Peoples as it were, made of ocean critters.

National Honor's Society

Composed of John Wick, David Bowie dressed like Sting from Dune, and three racoons in a trench coat among others, they come to Philo's aid in The Spaders Court as part of his defense team.

Kaiju

There are so many Kaiju in Philo, that we rolled them all in to one entry. There is the Kaiju Counsel, The Kaiju Tribunal, Kaiju High (where all of the kaiju attended growing up), and individuals such as (but not limited to) Manilla, Gamora, Godzilla, Mothra, Rodon, and the debate over whether certain things in Philo count as kaiju such as Centi-God.

Mycelium Network

The interconnected network all mushrooms share with each other as well as other lifeforms such as trees and grass. Mycelium networks are underground systems formed by the root-like structures of fungi, known as mycelium, which connect the roots of plants and trees. These networks facilitate nutrient exchange, communication, and support the health of ecosystems, often referred to as the "Wood Wide Web." Mushroom can plug into the Mycelium Network.
