In Episode 24 we find out what happens to Meow and the gang after Meow escapes from his lair. He goes through henchmen tryouts at the villain motel where Philo, Bluto, the dog, and Otis stayed the night after being exhausted. They ace the tryouts in a horse-costume they’re all inside, going through orientation.
